TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using MCHosts ("the Service"), operated at mchosts.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

MCHosts provides free Minecraft server hosting. Each user may create one (1) Minecraft server per account. The service includes:

• Minecraft Vanilla server (Java Edition)
• Web-based dashboard for server management
• Live console access
• Plugin installation from Modrinth
• Automatic and manual world backups
• Server configuration (gamemode, difficulty, whitelist, bans)

Servers automatically stop after 5 minutes of inactivity (no players online) to conserve resources. World data is preserved.

3. ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
• You must provide a valid email address or sign in with Google
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is prohibited

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use MCHosts to:

• Host, store, or distribute illegal content of any kind
• Run DDoS attacks, botnets, or other malicious software
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' servers or our infrastructure
• Use the service for cryptocurrency mining or any non-Minecraft purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Distribute malware, viruses, or malicious plugins
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them

5. SERVER CONTENT

You retain ownership of content you create on your Minecraft server (worlds, builds, configurations). However, you grant MCHosts a limited license to store, process, and back up this content as necessary to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for all content hosted on your server. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend servers that violate these Terms.

6. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

MCHosts is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages without prior notice.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

7. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your account and server at any time if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in abusive or harmful behavior
• Your server is used for illegal activities
• You create multiple accounts to abuse the service

You may delete your account and server at any time through the dashboard. Upon account deletion, all associated data (server files, backups, configuration) will be permanently removed within 30 days.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MCHosts and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, world files, or server configurations
• Service downtime or interruptions
• Unauthorized access to your server
• Actions of other players on your server

The Service is provided free of charge. Our total liability to you shall not exceed $0 USD.

9. DISCLAIMER

MCHosts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios, Microsoft Corporation, or Minecraft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
